While the crowd wasn't what we had hoped (100-200), those who came out had a wonderful time and everyone enjoyed the game. If you didn't make it to the park, you truly missed something special. While the Monroe Golden Lads lost 16-1, they showed a lot of heart and they have what it takes to be a great team. I'd love to see this become a regular weekend event for our community.

Monroe Optimist sponsored the games, including this 3 legged race.

We had a great time. My husband is a baseball fanatic and especially enjoyed the game.

The pictures are wonderful!!! Sorry we were out of town and had to miss it. I hope we can make it next year!

I heard that Mark from the Red Onion donated the shirts for the Golden Lads - what a great thing to do!

Great pictures!!! Thanks Monroe. We had a good weekend at the park. We stopped by & watched some of the game, visited the cabin. Then came back for the movie at night.

No. We made $19.25 for the library but are in the hole waaaaaaaay more with inventory. We will probably be the most popular house in Monroe on Trick or Treat night!

Thats just sad. I donated more, by myself, at the youngsters art program than all was donated throughout the entire old timers day a the park?
I guess this goes to show how important the library is to our city.
Buckeye email me I would like to become involved with the library.
