MONROE, Ohio - A barmaid is recovering after being beat up by one of her regular customers. Police in Monroe say they're looking for Casey Fryman who lives in Middletown.

Detectives say he left the Main Bar on Main Street after attacking the employee.

They say he threw a bar stool at her, jumped over the bar, hit her in the face, body slammed her and kicked her while she was on the ground.

Investigators say the attack happened when the barmaid asked Fryman to leave because he was fighting with his father who was also at the bar.

It's called Mutt's Main Bar. Been located on South Main street in Excello for well over 40 years. Not a savory little place. Use to be lots of trouble in there in the 70's & 80's. But they tried really hard to clean the place out. Different crowd now than before probably because the area has changed considerably.
I was not surprised to hear something like this happened there....

Yeah, in the early 80's they would just have shot the waitress for sticking her nose in their business.

I'm surprised this is in Lemon Township. I really thought it was Middletown proper.

Has anyone else seen the security cam footage? Notice the fine gentlemen at the bar who do absolutely nothing to help the woman. http://www.wlwt.com/video/24339520/ I hear the police at first charged the man with misdemeanor assault then upgraded (UPGRADE!! woot!) the charge to a felony after they saw the footage.

That was his dad...and he was just glad the boy had quit beating on him.
I feel for the woman, but c'mon its the Main Bar not Jags. She need to be like the old Lucky Stop and keep a snub nose behind the bar and every now and then make a barrel indent on someones forehead just to let them know whos in control.

I agree, It looks like there are at least 3 or 4 people sitting at the bar when he starts the attack. One even gets up and walks away as it is happening. It is sickening to watch and to think that anyone could just watch it happen and not step in.

I think they should charge everybody in the bar with something. That is awful!!!

OMG All three of those guys need their butts kicked. Who could just sit there and watch that? That is just sick..
