These things are taking up too much room in Josh Van Cleave's shop.

So I donated 10 to the schools which they have received and 10 to the city (5 for police and 5 for fire), which council has to approve before they can take delivery.

But that still leaves me with a bunch of these left.

So I got to thinking. How bout I donate them to every Monroe business, church, student or organization until they are gone.

Now, can anyone guess (not you eagle) what they are?

To receive your free whatyamacallit, all you have to do is post that you want one. (Limit 1 per person or organization)

Complete details to follow.

looks like boxed up PC's. It wouldn't be servers as they are too expensive and I highly doubt the city needs that many servers.

Erm, I'll bite. Three kids here, surely one of 'em will find a use for,... whatever it is!

How do you want to receive these?
Pickup or shall I drop off at central location?

These things are great! I have one on my desk a work.

If you don't need one, but you take one, it might have gone to a homeless monroe person who needed it to print out a quilt.

Although they specify and offer only Windows drivers - Mac users can use these too!

They have a USB connection, and you just need to download drivers for the Samsung ML-1710 here:

http://tinyurl.com/3d643e

Set it up as a Samsung and it's suppose to work just fine. I'll post my experience once I've got it up and running at home.

Thanks again John!
