A Boil Water Advisory has been issued due to a water main break on Carson Road. The advisory is a precaution and will be in effect for 48 hours. The City is required to take samples from the area of the break and to have them tested for contaminants. These tests take 48 hours. The following streets have been affected: Carson Road, Lee Court, Lee Drive, South Sands Avenue (south of Carson), Woodyard Drive, Raymond Drive, Scott Alan Drive, and Douglas Avenue.

Under a boil advisory, it is advisable to bring the water you will use for drinking, cooking, and all personal hygiene to a rolling boil for three minutes. Additional information can be found by visiting our website at www.monroeohio.org
