Valley View, here we come!  The football team did it again, beating Alder Saturday night.  Another spectacular win!  This is the furthest Monroe has advanced in the playoffs, and it is currently tied for the best record in the school history at 11-1 ... matching 1994's squad.  #2 seeded Monroe is in the regional finals, playing #1 seeded Germantown Valley View at 7:00 at Princeton Mancuso Field Viking Stadium on Chester Road in Cincinnati.  Purchase your tickets early at the school for $6.00 so the school reaps 20% of the total:  Wed-Fri from 10:30-3:30; Wed-Thurs from 5:30-7:00 in the evening; and Sat from 9:00-11:00 in the morning.

Congratulations to Head Football Coach Jason Krause for being named Division IV Coach of the Year and to Michael Majors for being named Division IV Defensive Player of the Year.  Pat Harrington, Tad Kilburn and Josh Herron were first team selections to the All Southwest District team.  Great honors for all!  Read more about this on the front page of today's sports section of the Journal.

You're now busy Thursday evening!  There will be a community pep rally in the Main Gym of the school from 6:30 - 7:00.  Come out and support the football team!
