Recycle Your Christmas Tree

Instead of just throwing your live tree out on the curb this winter for collection, recycle it! Many Butler county residents have Christmas tree recycling programs available this year.

Monroe: Tri-State Landscape Supply located at 2864 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd. will be accepting trees for compost Monday thru Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm and Saturdays 8am to 12pm. Service is free to Butler county residents. Please remove all decorations. For more information call 513-423-8723

West Chester: Drop off trees at Keenher Park, 7411 Barret Rd. or Beckett Park, 8558 Beckett Rd. thru the end of January (trees will be chipped for compost). For more information call 513-777-8765 or visit www.westchesteroh.org.

Fairfield: Waterworks Park located on Groh Ln. will accept your trees until January 13th. The city of Fairfield will chip the trees for use in local parks. For more information call 513-785-7550 or visit www.hamilton-city.org.

Oxford: Residents may place trees on curb for collection on trash collection days. The city of Oxford will be picking up the trees for recycling.
