|The Spring Clean-Up and Large-Item Pickup will be held on Saturday, May 21st. Below is a list of items that are acceptable and how they must be contained:
Carpet: Cut and tied in 4' lengths and 2' in diameter rolls.
Wood: Bundled and tied in 4' lengths and 2' in diameter.
Fencing: Bundled in 4' lengths and 2' in diameter.
Metal Poles: Cut to 4' lengths and 2' in diameter rolls.
Furniture/Appliances: All Freon-containing appliances must be certified that the Freon has been removed. Remove all doors from large appliances (refrigerators/freezers, etc.) for safety purposes.
Construction Debris: In cans or bags of no more than 60 lbs. Do not place in boxes.
Miscellaneous Small Items: Place small household items in cans or bags. Drain all fluids from items that contain gasoline or oil.
The following items are not large items and will NOT be picked up:
- Car batteries
- Car and truck tires
- Rocks, dirt, and concrete
- Household chemicals
- Yard waste (grass, leaves, brush)
Waste Management trucks will be going around collecting these items on Saturday, May 21st. Please place items at the curb on the evening of Friday, May 20th.
