Hornets Crush Panthers 47 - 7
The Monroe Hornets enjoyed their first win of the 2000 season Friday night at the expense of the Little Miami Panthers. Touchdowns by Lakes, Sampson, Majors, Brown and Routson enabled the Fighting Hornets to beat up on the Panthers 47-7. 

Monroe vs. Badin, Scrimmage

August 21, 2000  Monroe was feeling the heat from Badin who defeated them 21-0.  "It's a new offence and we're still suffering through," McDonough said in defense of his team.  "We don't have all the wheels on it yet.  But then again, we were pretty vanilla tonight because I'm sure Ross was up there (in the stands) scouting."  Monroe plays Ross on Friday


 

 

 
Wee Hornets begin Football Practice

Football practices have begun for the Monroe Wee Hornets. They are especially excited about being allowed to use the "high school" football field for their games this year. Games will start on September 16th.
