Alice Rose Salzman, age 93, passed away at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. She was the daughter of William and Beatrice Salzman. She was born September 20, 1918 in Excello, Ohio. Alice worked as the Postmaster, then as Superintendent of the Excello Branch Post Office. She retired in December, 1968. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert. Alice was grateful for the care she received from Bob and Marcia Helsinger, Mary Enz, Bill Helsinger and Janet Majors. She also appreciated the care Senior Independence Hospice and Visiting Angels provided. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Monday at the Woodside Cemetery Chapel with Bill Helsinger officiating.
