Just picked up a Med Pepperoni pizza and was under cooked. The crust was like a wet rag. Had to through it in a skillet to make it edible. Not a good start but I'm willing to try again. I hope Pizza Hut Reads This.

So what the verdict? Is this a good place for pizza?

I had it and thought it was better than Dominos but not as good as LaRosas.

some of the wing places don't

I hope they do.

The bread sticks are an obvious deal breaker.

I'm not a fan of breadsticks (I know, I'm a freak), but the wife said they were good.

I have a coworker that preferred Cassanos but now is switching to Pizza Hut. He says Cassanos is too expensive and he kept getting stray ingredients on his pizza from there.

I don't normally eat pizza, but when I do, I prefer to eat Marion's, and sometimes Cassano's thin crust.

When will Monroe get a Donatos? I think we can all agree that's the greatest pizza right? haha

They just opened some up in Virginia, I'm pretty excited. There was always one in the Air & Space museum but it wasn't the same.

I can't compare Cassanos to Pizza Hut, totally different. I LOVE Cassanos but it's so darn expensive even for a Large Cheese! Cassanos is my splurge, Pizza Hut will be our family budget eat out night lol. I can't beat what we got for $20 bucks, 2-liter, breadsticks, pizza roll ups and then a cheese and pepperoni pizza. They had an online coupon for it.

Donato's delivers to my house in Monroe Meadows. Not sure how far north on Cin-Day road they go, but I believe it is coming from the store on Cin-Day and Liberty Way.

I agree. You must use Cassano's coupons, or specials on line are sometimes good. They had great Internet specials when ordering on line, but it has been down all summer and fall.

I used to deliver for Donatos in Liberty Township. Pretty much 63 is the uppermost border. But this was by far the longest drive, so keep that in mind and tip appropriately!

Marion's is really good and glad they are moving closer. I sincerely hope they don't take their practice of charging for pop refills with them. I have not eaten there in a while but the one by Red Lobster by the Dayton Mall wanted to charge us for pop refills the last time I was there. I don't mind paying for what I drink but it is pretty much industry standard now to offer "free" refills. Obviously you pay for the free refills in some manner but it was just the concept that bothered me. Stick it in the overhead man. Now if anyone can make a pizza joint with free beer refills I am all in. Although that would make for a pretty raucous eatery.

Since we are on pizza here - how is the new Domino pan pizza? I thought about trying it this past weekend but ended up trying the new T-Birds in Trenton instead.

We had it last week, and it was good. I love their pan crust, but one thing I hate is that they don't have green olives. A pizza for me is not complete without them. Domino's doesn't have them, either. I've taken to keeping a jar in the fridge so when we order pizza from either place, I can just add them myself

Sounds like an alternative to the brown acid at Woodstock.

Hahaha...sorry, I'm a pizza and chili snob. I grew up just south of Chicago so Unos on Union Center is the closest I have to pizza like back home. Even then we saw it much as most people see Pizza Hut or Dominos. There use to be a place up in Springboro called Rosati's that was actually a small chain that opened up a shop here from Chicago and I loved it. I hated seeing it close down. Donatos, LaRossas, Skyline, and Gold Star all make me feel ill :-(

Comparing Cincinnati chili, with Chicago chili is not apples to oranges, but more like Democrats to Republicans! Chicago pizza though, that's a valid comparison, and most would agree.

Rosattis was the best I knew the owners. Their grandson played baseball with my son and used to bring us pie. Pizza Hut on the on the hand is a YUM brand and is fast food u can get it at Taco Bell. Good if you are in a hurry. Fratellis in west Chester is another favorite.
