There are a lot of great kids that play baseball for several select baseball teams in the area. The Swarm has several outstanding teams that seem to be bringing home hardware every weekend.

I happened to be covering the Memroial Day Tourney in Middletown this past weekend when two local young men were playing.

First was Steve Haven for The Butler County Bulldogs

Vince,

don't forget there are also 2 other Monroe boys on the 12U Butler County Bombers National team that also went 5-0 this weekend to win their division. It is Roman Rothwell and Jake Mitchell. Both hit homeruns this weekend as the Bombers outscored the 5 teams 55-11.

LOL, I don't even think I'm a member.

They sent me a letter about a spot in my yard last Summer and I sent an email back letting them know that I appreciated them bringing it to my attention, and they had my permission to re-seed the section of the yard in question and tend to it as they saw fit.

I never heard anything back from them...or about the lighter colored spot of grass.
