The Warren County Ducks Unlimited banquet will be held on Saturday, August 28 at the Kings Island Inn. There will be a meal, gun raffles, hunting accessories raffle, silent auction and a live auction.

If anyone would be interested in attending, send me a note and I will get you the information.

This DU banquet is different from others in that there is a larger percentage of wives and kids that attend. There are even raffle items designated for the kids and wives only.

If you've ever been to one of these banquets, you know how much fun they are. If you haven't been to one before - you should try it out.

The banquet at the Manchester is the Butler County chapter of Ducks Unlimited. It's usually held in September on a Thursday night.

what the heck IS Ducks Unlimited?

Ducks Unlimited is an organization dedicated to the saving and development of wetlands which are critical to the future of all ducks and other waterfowl. Click on the following link to their web site for additional and more detailed information.

I didn't realize they had a chapter in every county.

Not every county but a lot of them. It's really a very big organization as the link above will show you. They use the banquets to fund their numerous projects.
