Voters have spoken. Its time for the next generation to take charge. The old philosophy of man-handling coaches and vendors is over.

As a result, the school board now has 3 new members who have never served on the school board before.

What I hope takes over is a philosophy of speaking and listening to parents, coaches, teachers, administrators and vendors. Decision making without personal agendas and a more measured tone overall.

MacDonald, Stone and Guido are excellent replacements and I am proud to have helped put each of them in office with my vote. I say congratulations to each and everyone of you!

My guess is that the board personality will change for the better. Perhaps next election, we can just re-elect, rather than find all new.

God bless the new school board and God bless Monroe Local Schools.

Maybe the school board will throw out Lifetouch. They are the worst pictures we have ever had.

You have to go to school board meetings to know. It's water under the bridge, spilt milk, the barn door is now closed. Let's move on.

It's about time, but I do wish Irwin could have stayed,
there are still a couple to go.

New people don't always bring about better or desired results.

These are all good folks. Let's see how they apply their personal beliefs and opinions to the running of the school board. It should be quite different from the past, but then again it may not change much at all.

I the hope that the new board will be more diplomatic with vendors.
