Holly Cahall is Monroe Schools' New Treasurer November 1st

It's official! Holly Cahall, the current treasurer of Wilmington City Schools, has accepted the school board’s $82,000 offer on Monday night to become Monroe’s new treasurer. She will take office on November 1, 2011.

Ms. Cahall has experience with schools with financial difficulty. In 1999 she took over as treasurer of a school district that had just been declared in a state of "Financial Watch."

Cahall, then CFO/Treasurer with Williamsburg Local Schools (1999-2006), had this to say about her experience in getting Williamsburg Local School District out of Fiscal Watch, "I joined the District as it was entering Fiscal Watch and worked closely with the Superintendent, Board, and State Department of Education to steer the District back to fiscal strength and stability. I supported the Superintendent and all District leadership in effectively managing limited resources to advance on the District’s Report Card." 

Dan Hare, Superintendent of Butler County ESC, has this to say about Holly Cahall, "I find Holly Cahall to be a person of high character and integrity. She is committed to ethics and honesty in all transactions.  She has excellent treasurer skills and is a great team member. She has a wide range of experiences as a school treasurer including joining  a district that was entering Fiscal Watch and working closely with the Superintendent, Board and the Ohio Department of Education to steer the District back into fiscal strength and stability."

Monroe Superintendent Elizabeth Lolli had this to day, "I look forward to working with Holly Cahall. She comes with outstanding references and a wealth of experience. I feel confident that she can support the Board/Administrative efforts to make the district fiscally sound once more."

Monroe School Board Member Chris Snyder said this, "Mrs. Cahall will do an outstanding job for our district. She was a State Auditor for four years and has been a school Treasurer for twelve years. Her wealth of experience will be a huge positive for us".

Monroe School Board Member Leslie Stone had this to say, "We are really looking forward to working with Holly.  Her experience will be very helpful.  I find her very qualified and a caring person ready to dedicate all her efforts to help our district."
