The Ohio House has agreed to Senate changes to a bill that allows townships to more closely regulate strip clubs, a move that brings the townships more into line with the power that cities and counties have in regulating such clubs.
The bill allows townships to ask for the state attorney general's opinion in enforcing their regulations and allows prosecutors to seek the attorney general's help to try cases in federal court.
The bill now goes to Gov. Bob Taft, who is expected to sign it into law.
