Nope, Monroe just gets most of the pollution, so I can see why you might think that.

Why would we get revenue from a plant located in another city?
Pollution, lots of it, and our air quality already sucks.

Just the way other post were it indicated to me it would bring jobs to Monroe thus city taxes and so on.

Nope. and the number of jobs it's actually adding seems to go down by the day.
By the time they close the Kentucky Coke plant, and the Middletown Coke plant, I wonder how many of the 55 jobs at Suncoke will be a net gain.
but no worries, we will get almost ALL of the pollution, so we have that going for us. |
