Tonight is the first reading of a resolution (No. 09-2011) to authorize the city manager to enter into an agreement between the City of Monroe and the State of Ohio to make the State Route 63 and Interstate 75, reflective of the modern city Monroe has become. The estimated cost of this project is $1.45 Million.
The project will be bid by ODOT in October of this year and it is anticipated that the project will be completed by early summer of 2012.
