Wednesday, October 27, 2004 5:22:02 PM - Monroe Ohio

The demolition of Wilson Elementary started today. McKinley will start soon.

Once the demolition of these facilities is completed, "Memory Bricks" will be available to the public.   Bricks from the original facility will be saved and moved to a separate, gated area adjacent to the demolition site.

Anyone who would like to keep a brick will be able to come to the construction sites on Nov. 8, 9, and 10 from noon until 6:00 P.M. and on November 11 and 12 from 9:00 A.M. until 3 P.M.

A sign will be posted at the entrance directing you where to go to receive your brick.

Bricks will only be available for pick up during these scheduled times.
