We are excited about the annual Fourth of July events hosted by the City of Monroe and the Monroe Lions Club. The events will begin at 2:00 pm at Monroe Community Park. There will be rides, games, vendors, and a large variety of food. Entertainment will start off with the fabulous Rick House Band. There will be fireworks after their performance.
The annual parade will begin to line up at 3:00 pm in the Kroger parking lot and begin promptly at 4:00 pm. The parade will travel down Macready Avenue, to Elm Street, and south on Main Street ending at the Monroe Community Park. It is still not too late to participate in the parade or float contest.
