Myers has been working with the new replacement for his retired lab. His new pattern is a black German Shepard named Alec.  Alec was imported from Germany. According to officer Myers, "He will be trained in drug detection as well as patrol (article search, building search, criminal apprehension and so on). Alec will be ready for service on May 12, 2000
