Cindy Newman, a former Monroe resident and mother of three, was killed in a head-on crash on Cincinnati-Dayton Road Sunday.  Ms. Newman was president of Monroe Elementary School's PTO from 1996-98 and a very active member of the community.  She and her three children had recently moved to Lakota schools.  She will be sadly missed by the Monroe community.
