| Today at 6:00 pm will be the final meeting of the Middletown/Monroe School District. Meeting at the administrative offices, an agreement of the division of assets is hoped to be reached, and approval of a cash transfer of 75% of the settlement is expected. The meeting with the Ohio Department of Education should settle the split of the assets giving the newly formed Monroe School Board the money it will need to pay the everyday running expenses including teacher salaries, and start-up expenses. The transfer of funds will still have to be approved in writing. |
