Around the MML Dayton Carroll shut out Greenville to finish the season at 8-2 overall and 4-1 in the MML North while Greenville is now 6-4 and finished their one and only year in the MML North at 2-3. West Carrollton cruised to an easy 33-13 victory over Fenwick to finish the year at 6-4 overall and 5-1 in the MML South to claim a share of the South Title along with Monroe. Fenwick fell to 3-7 overall and 2-4 in the MML South. Springboro smashed Franklin 42-7 to finish the season perfect at 10-0 overall and 5-0 in the MML North while Franklin is now 3-7 overall and 1-5 in the MML South. Lebanon squeaks by Miamisburg winning 28-24 to finish at 7-3 overall and 3-2 in the MML North while Miamisburg is now 2-8 and finished winless against MML North squads at 0-5. Talawanda demolishes Dayton Stebbins 27-0 to finish at 3-7 overall and 3-3 in the MML South while Stebbins is now 2-8 overall and finished 1-5 in the MML South for their only year in the South. Stebbins before this year was in the MML North.
------
The final Harbin Rankings for the year are for Division 1 Region 3 Fairborn finished in 27th place out of 30 schools and their 1-9 record didn't help their cause any. Only the top eight teams in each region make the playoffs so they finished 19 spots below that. For Region 4 Lebanon finished in 13th place with their 7-3 record missing the playoffs by just five spots. Miamisburg finished in 23rd spot out of 28 schools with their 2-8 record so they missed it by 15 schools.
In Division 2 Region 6 Greenville finished in 15th place with their 6-4 record missing the playoffs by 7 spots out of 29 schools. In Region 8 Springboro was the number one seed since they finished the regular season undefeated at 10-0 so they will face Cincinnati Winton Woods at home in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs. Dayton Carroll finished as the number sixth seed with their 8-2 record so they will be playing the number 3 seeded Kings Mills Kings at Kings. West Carrollton finished as the number seven seed with their 6-4 record so they will face Cincinnati Mount Healthy at Mt. Healthy. Edgewood finished in 11th place with an 8-2 record so they missed the playoffs by just 3 spots. Oxford Talawanda finished in 18th place with a 3-7 record so they missed the playoffs by 10 schools out of 29.
In Division 3 Region 12 Franklin missed the playoffs with a 3-7 record as they finished in the 23rd spot out of 30 schools.
In Division 4 Region 16 Monroe made the playoffs as the number two seed as they finished with an 8-2 record so they will face Cincinnati Madeira at home. Fenwick missed the playoffs with a 3-7 record as they finished 15th out of 30 schools.
The MML had four teams make the playoffs in its last year of existence with Springboro, Carroll, and West Carrollton making it in Division 4 Region 8. While Monroe made it in Division 4 Region 16.
-----
My prediction for the Springboro - Winton Woods game is Springboro will win 24-21. Prediction for Carroll - Kings is Carroll 31-28. Prediction for West Carrollton - Mount Healthy is 28-7 Mt. Healthy.

Cincinnati Madeira At Monroe
Madeira finished the season at 6-4 barely making it in the playoffs where they will face Monroe at Monroe Stadium at Fighting Hornet Field. Madeira is playoff tested since they played four schools that are in the playoffs going 0-4 against those schools. Monroe has faced just one playoff team this year losing to West Carrollton 28-10. Playing at home will be huge for Monroe since this is the last game the Hornets will have at home and just last week the Monroe - Edgewood game drew at least 7,000 fans. The Hornets 12th man will create chaos since Madeira will not hear what plays the quarterback is calling so that will force miscommunication and poor execution all night long for the Mustangs. The Hornets offense will move the ball on the Mustangs but the offense will stall before reaching the red zone (inside the opposition's 20 - yard line). The offense will manage to score just enough points while the defense will keep Madeira out of the end zone enough times for the Hornets to advance to the second round of the playoffs and more importantly move one step closer to the state championship game.
Monroe grabs an early lead and hangs on for the "W" winning 28-21 to extend their win streak at home to seven and 5 games overall.
