| The Monroe Area Optimist Club will be having an organizational meeting for the 1st Annual "Springfest" scheduled for May 19 and 20, 2006 at the Monroe Local Schools location on Yankee Road. The meeting will be held at 7 pm in the school cafeteria on November 17th. Booth rental for vendors will be made available at a later date.
