A hazardous winter storm of snow, sleet and freezing rain is headed toward the Monroe, the National Weather Service warned today, with the potential to disrupt Friday morning's rush hour to Cincinnati or Dayton.

The storm, heading eastward to the Ohio Valley, is expected to bring 5 to 7 inches of snow before it's over Friday, with the serious snowfall starting tonight and picking up Friday morning.
