¨ Congratulations to the Boys basketball team for winning Madison High School's Brian Cook Classic over the holidays! They beat Milton-Union 87-82 Thursday evening, then won the finals Friday night against Ridgeville Christian 82-69. The team is now 4-1. Two members of the squad made the all-tournament team: Michael Majors and Tyler Osterman; and Tyler was named MVP of the tournament.
¨ Kudos to Tyler Osterman for breaking the school record for Most Points in a Game against Milton Union. He scored 50 points during that game. The previous record was held by John Durham from the 1972-73 season: 44 points against Columbus Bishop Ready.
¨ Over the holidays the Girls basketball team lost to Franklin 36-44, but they won on a buzzer basket against Ross 36-35. The team now stands at 5-2.
