| October 20, 2000 Monroe High School Football Field- The stands were packed at Lemon-Monroe stadium Friday afternoon but not for a football game. The entire student body of Monroe Local Schools K-12 participated in a homecoming pep rally. All fall sports teams were recognized-golf, soccer, cross country, football, cheerleaders cheered, the band played and the homecoming candidates were introduced. A spirit bear was awarded to Monroe Elementary School principal Patti Shull for uniting the elementary school student body with the junior/high school student body. The students enjoyed a very spirited rally. |
