| Barry Pettyjohn teaches math at Monroe Junior/Senior High School. Mr. Pettyjohn also coaches junior high football for the Hornets. He is a 1982 graduate and 1998 Hall of Fame inductee of Deer Park High School. After high school Barry went to play college football for the University of Pittsburgh, from 1982-1985. He received a B.A. in Social Sciences and moved on to play for the Houston Oilers and Miami Dolphins in the NFL. After finishing his career in the NFL, he coached professionally for a year and in the college ranks for seven years. Barry Pettyjohn looks forward to the years ahead at Monroe. |
