The AEIF and AK Steel met for an hour and a fifteen minutes yesterday to discuss the latest counter-offer by the company in response to the union's initial offer. The results were disapointing, since the company rejected the AEIF offer. Both sides departed without setting a new date for discussions.
The AEIF (Armco Employees Independent Federation) represent 2,700 workers that have been locked out for two weeks now.
