Another meet; another record falls. Monore held the the very last MML South preview meet last night and, once again, the Monroe Boys took first place overall and the Girls took second!
Impressively; Shae Michael, Braden McMonigle, Justin Hall, and Pat Harrington combined to win the 4X200M relay with a record time of 1:37.49, shattering the old record of 1:39.3 that was posted by T.Kilburn, R.Hendrickson (AKA R.Hernandez), J.Herron, and M.Cantrell just last season!
BOYS TEAM RESULTS: 1. Monroe 147; 2.. West Carrollton 111.5; 3. Edgewood 97.5; 4. Talawanda 89.5; 5. Stebbins 85.5; 6. Franklin 81.
Also, the girls came painfully close to also beeting their 4x100M relay record of 53.2 set in 1987 with a time of 53.8 posted by Richardson, Oldfield, Pierce, Thompson.
Great job Hornets!
