The preliminary results for the Ohio Achievement Tests arrived in the district yesterday and the results are as follows:

Third Grade
Reading 74% after EMIS Count 79%
Math 85%

Fourth Grade
Reading 89%
Writing 95%
Math 90%

Fifth Grade
Reading 83%
Math 86%

Sixth Grade
Reading 93%
Math 77%

Seventh Grade
Reading 88%
Math 64%

Eighth Grade
Reading 83%
Math 69%

The benchmark for the report card on schools is 75%. If the EMIS data holds true the elementary will reach the benchmark in every subject tested and will achieve the excellent status for the first time.
