Monroe Schools Eliminate 5 Staff Positions

Eliminated at the most recent school board meeting were the following staff positions:

Technology Director ($55k Savings)

Library Aide ($37K Savings)

Business Manager ($80K Savings)
Board Consultant ($50K Savings)

HS Secretary ($46K Savings)

School Resource officer ($34K Savings)

Also an extended day teacher was eliminated, saving $13K, a reduction in Substitute Teacher Pay will save $19K.
