Approval of Minutes

The minutes from the August 8, 2006 Council meeting and August 18, 2006 Finance Committee meeting were approved.

New Business

Ordinance No. 2006-44, rezoning real property containing approximately 4.45 acres, more or less, identified as part lot 369, and further described herein, from R-5 multi-family residential, to R-5 multi-family residential planned unit development, pursuant to the recommendation of the Monroe Planning Commission and authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Planned Unit Development Agreement by and between the City of Monroe and KRW Communities.

Council accepted Ordinance No. 2006-44 as a first reading.

Emergency Ordinance No. 2006-45, levying assessments for street lighting and listing real properties to be assessed.

Emergency Ordinance No. 2006-45, directing the City Treasurer to certify unpaid property maintenance accounts to the Butler County Auditor for placement on the tax duplicate as a lien against the identified parcels in violation of Monroe Codified Chapter 674.
