To Monroe residents:
For those of you who know me, by face or byline, this will be my last week covering your community and schools for The Middletown Journal.

I just want to let you know that I truly enjoyed covering Monroe.
What stands out to me about Monroe is the pride and spirit in this town.

Even though it’s fast-growing, it really has a small town charm. I has the pleasure of meeting many city and school leaders during my year at the Journal. But talking to the residents was the best part of the job.

Thank you so much for receiving me in your community.

The Middletown Journal really does care about and is committed to Monroe. I can honestly say they do their best to capture the events in your city with the resources they have, because you represent a strategic readership area for them.

They are hustling to fill my position, so you’ll be seeing a new reporter around soon.
