The Monroe Lending Library Board is considering extending our hours in order to serve the community better. As a lending library, we operate strictly on a volunteer basis. Therefore, we are seeking volunteers to assist in working at the library on Wednesday’s from 10 am to 12 pm. Duties include checking book(s) in and out of the system, and returning books to shelves. Our normal hours are Monday 7 – 9 pm, Wednesday 2 – 8 pm and Saturday 10 am – 1 pm. In addition, volunteers are always needed for regular business hours.
