Read a Book from Monroe Lending Library.  New hours are Monday 6-8 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. – 12 noon, 2 p.m. –8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

THE HUSBAND – Dean Koontz

The intrigue begins on Page 11 and doesn’t stop until the very end.  Mitch runs a small struggling landscaping operation, so thought the phone call he received some kind of a joke---a ransom demand of $2 million ford the return of his kidnapped wife with the usual instruction of don’t call the police.  Mitch doesn’t know who to trust, grab your seat, hold on for a thrilling story.

FOR ONE MORE DAY – Mitch Albom

Another best seller from the author who wrote Tuesdays with Morrie.  The book focuses on the relationship of a mother & son and explores the question: What would you do if you could spend one more day with a lost loved one?  Through the characters and storytelling as only Albom can do, the reader will appreciate those whom they love and ask, “who would I choose?”
