Monroe Lending Library is offering a READ-A-BOOK from the Monroe Lending Library Contest beginning April 9th - September lst. The reading program is open to all children, toddlers through high school. Prizes will be awarded to the top three readers.
Facts on helping your child succeed by reularly reading to them:
1. These children are more likely to have a larger
vocabulary.
2. Reading helps them focus for longer periods of time.
3. They usually have fewer reading problems than child-
ren not having the same exposure.
4. Reading helps them to have better communication
skills.
