Monroe Lending Library is pleased to announce that we now have a telephone, the number is 513-360-0714 (this is a local call but a new prefix for Monroe). Our hours of operation are given in the greeting as well as the ability to leave us a message.
Attention Moms:
Moms, bring your children to the Monroe Lending Library every Wednesday, 10 a.m. -12 noon. Our children's book selection is growing weekly. You may become a member to check books out or just spend the time reading to your children. The Library has a Read-a-Book contest gooing on from now through the summer. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 readers as well as certificates of participation will be given to all childdren entered in the contest.
Book Review:
Elm Creek Quilters by Jennifer Chiaverini is a collection of three novels. This story weaves the lives of three people into an interesting tale of friendship and a fledging business. Quilters will enjoy the history of quilting and quilting instructions that are part of the story.
