Five Candidates Showing Interest in Four Council Seats Tweet

by Bill Rogers The deadline is up to file a petition to run in the November 6th election to be on the Monroe City Council. With four open seats needing to be filled there are five candidates seeking the job, including three incumbents in Bob Kelley, Suzi Rubin and Lora Stillman. Those seeking their first appointment to the council are Michael Gilmartin and Tracey Shell. Gilmartin is a member of the Monroe City Park Board, and Shell is a computer engineer.
