 Arnol Elam, Superintendent of the Monroe Local Schools district since it's inception in 2000 has announced his intent to retire at the end of this year. Arnol has been an educator for 31 years, working as a teacher in the Lakota and Madison school districts, and as a principal with Reading City Schools for 10 years. He has stated that he has no specific plans other than relaxing and enjoying his retirement.
