From Coach Jennifer Burnside, Head Girls Varsity Soccer Coach
The Monroe Girls Varsity Soccer team just finished up their regular season with a perfect 16 -0 record. They captured their fourth consecutive League Championship on Tuesday night with a 3 to 0 win over Madison. The girls are on pace to break all the records set by the 2006 Championship team. This year the team has scored 109 goals, posted 13 shutouts, and only allowed 3 goals to be scored. The girls start the first round of the State Tournament at home Monday night at 6:00 p.m. Please come out to the game and show your support and Hornet PRIDE! |
