The Optimist Club of the Monroe-Area was officially organized on January 30, 2002. The club‘s final charter members was 39. The club‘s main focus is on the youth of the community. Motto is "Friend of Youth." The club meets at the Monroe Fire Department building on St Rt 4 the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 6:30PM. Anyone interested in learning more about our Optimist club is welcome to attend our meetings.
