Monroe High School's very own "Stu" Wilson was recognized by the State of Ohio when he was named the 2007 Ohio Athletic Trainers Association athleteic trainer of the Year.
A stated goal of the OATA is to increase the awareness amongst secondary school administrators on the athletic training profession, Ohio laws regarding the profession, and the benefits of having athletic trainers on staff.
Stu Wilson will be honored at a banquet on May 9th in Akron, Ohio. Stu was one of 3 trainers to receive this award. This award is awarded to trainers at the high school and college levels. Stu was the only high school trainer selected this year, the other two awards went to college trainers from Ohio colleges. We are very proud of Stu and glad to have his expertise for our athletes.
