| Monroe Elementary School held its Sixth Grade Recognition Assembly Wednesday, June 5 at 8:45 AM. The gymnasium was filled with parents, grandparents, friends, family members and staff wishing the sixth grade class a smooth transition from the elementary school to the junior/senior high school next year. There was joy and laughter and even some tears as the sixth graders said farewell to the school where many have attended for seven years since they entered kindergarten.
