Despite the rain, many garage sales in Monroe's 22nd Annual Community-Wide Garage Sale did quite well today, Saturday. Tracy Shell, reported that they had steady traffic for 2 hours. One garage sailer reported that she had a good day and made $500.
The weather was supposed to break betweek 12 and 1pm said Monroe Weatherman Steve Urso. But by 1 pm Urso conceded, " This rain is being being stubborn to move out. I am thinking this afternoon we will see some sun."
