Monroe Lending Library

July and August 2008

The Monroe Lending Library wants you to catch the READING BUG!  The Library will have 2 reading contest.  The first one, sponsored through a grant from the Greater Cincinnati Foundation is from June 2^nd through July 18^th.  It will feature nature books and crafts with lots of creepy crawly bugs.  Prizes will be given to the top five readers.

The second reading contest begins July 19^th through August 30^th.  Prizes will be awarded to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners.  Certificates will be presented to all that enter the contest.

The Monroe Lending Library Quarter Raffle will be held at the Mount Pleasant Activity Room on Friday, July 25^th and Friday, August 22^nd from 7 to 9 p.m. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN LOCATION AND DATES.  Preview begins at 6:30 p.m. and raffle begins at 7 p.m.  All proceeds go to the Library Building and Operating Funds.

Monday 6-8 p.m.

Wednesday 10 a.m. –12 noon, 2 p.m.- 8 p.m.

Saturday 10 a.m. –1 p.m.
