2nd grade Monroe Elementary students made doughnuts with the help of Krispy Kreme thru the Junior Achievement Program (JA). Through JA, students learn how businesses operate. It is the goal of JA to teach children about how the free enterprise system works. Each student dipped doughnuts in chocoloate and sprinkles. There was a surplus of doughnuts so the staff MainstreetMonroe got a big pan of the delicious donuts. As you can see from the photo, there weren't many left.
