Parents of Monroe Juniors hosted and many area businesses again sponsored the After Prom Party this year as a safe alternative activity for our students on prom night. The After Prom Beach Party was held from 12 midnight until 4AM at the Monroe Jr/Sr High school after the prom last Friday, May 1. Activities included laser tag, volleyball, cornhole, movies, food, limbo, giant twister, Dance Revolution, cards and much more. The Army also provided a laser target shooting activity. Everyone who attended received at least $20 worth of prizes. Some of the prizes included Rock Band, TomTom GPS, I-Pods, DVD player and dozens of gift cards to area businesses.
