The Monroe Hornets Varsity baseball team improved their season record to
21-2, with a Sectional Championship victory over :Little Miami on
Tuesday at Springboro high school. The final score was 6-3.
Monroe trailed 3-2 early, then tied it at 3-3, and then scored 3 times
in the bottom of the 5th to take the 6-3 lead.
Next UP--- The District title game this Friday at 5:00 at Mason Vs
McNicholas.Come on Hornet Fans-the crowd was great Tuesday, but we need MORE
FRIDAY.
Upon their return Tuesday night the City provided the team with a Police
escort and Happy Hornet fans lined the school driveway for the
team-THANKS TO ALL OF YOU and THANK YOU MONROE Police Department.
