"It is disappointing for us, but we have every intention of continuing the City Fest next year" said Steve Tannreuther. Usually by now, City Fest has raised a significant amount of money, not so this year.Many businesses have contacted City Fest coordinators with letters of apology instead of checks this year. It's the economy. Most businesses are struggling to stay in business this year.
The CF committee has decided it would be better to plan on the 2004 City Fest instead. Thank you City Fest for the last 7 years of fun. We all look forward to the next City Fest in 2004! |
